About Me

Dutch born and Aussie bred I grew up in Melbourne Australia. I have always had a fascination for how things worked and this was especially so of the human body.

On my path to studying medicine I sought the help of a Chiropractor because of daily recurring headaches that had been affecting me since a child. Little did I know that this would be a major turning point in my life. Not only did I find that I was free from the headaches, I also noticed a huge benefit in my overall wellbeing, and that all the people who were visiting the practice along with me really wanted to be there; they were happy and healthy. I knew that this profession was for me.

Seven years later I joined the practice that I was once a patient of, but now a chiropractor. It felt like a lifetime had passed, yet it also felt like an instant. I spent the next four years practicing alongside my mentor and coach who really showed me the power of the adjustment, and taught me how to be a chiropractor. I developed my passion for paediatric chiropractic after witnessing the rapid and incredible changes first hand.

Finally feeling the need to ’step out into the world’ I did so to travel and locum with my wife Dr Kate Marshall, also a chiropractor. We travelled to Spain where we attended the Dr Marc Hudson – Chiropractic Extravaganza Seminar in Mallorca where we were all inspired to donate to the new Barcelona Chiropractic College. We raised over 650,000 Euros in 2 hours. Truly inspired.

I then passed the UK GCC exam in July 2008 and have been locuming since. We eventually plan to move to Barcelona to practice and teach at the new school.
