Tobago Chiropractic Volunteer Mission 2007
The following is an newspaper article that appeared in The Age, Melbourne, Australia.
14 Chiropractors (including myself and my wife Dr Kate Marshall) organised by Dr Peter Lawrence of the Masters Circle were invited by the Rotary club of Tobago and the local GP’s to come and provide volunteer chiropractic services for their local community. We were able to check and adjust over 14,000 people in the 5 days. We were stationed around the island at orphanages, community centres, police and fire stations as well as schools and prisons. The whole of the Tobagan government was also checked and adjusted.
The long term aim was to raise awareness of chiropractic and ultimately to help set up a more permenent chiropractic presence on the island.
